How To: Connect your Shopify Store

After you've created a Novel account, you will have the ability to connect to your Shopify Storefront and within seconds, make your video content shoppable.

Step 1: Open App Store

Within the Storyline Builder, click on the Open App Store icon.

Step 2: Select Shopify Storefront App

Within the Novel App Store, select the Add button aligned with the Shopify Storefront app.

Step 3: Connect to your Shopify Store

Click the Connect Shopify Account button. Upon clicking Connect Shopify Account, you will be redirected to the Shopify authentication page. In order to continue, you must authorize Shopify to connect & share your products with Novel.

Step 4: Select your Product

After successfully connecting, select Sell a Product. While you will see the Collection option displayed, this functionality is not yet available (but coming soon!).

Clicking on Sell a Product will bring you to a list of products associated with your storefront. Here, you can select an individual product to pair with your media content. Each piece of media supports up to one shoppable product.

Step 5: Publish & Share

When you have added the desired content and associated your Shopify products accordingly, select Share to publish & distribute your video experience.

Novel video experiences can be shared via webpage embed, custom link or QR code.
