📊 Consolidated Data Dashboard

To date, each shoppable video has come with a unique data experience, showing individual sales and engagement metrics for that specific shoppable layout. With this latest release, we’ve delivered a consolidated data experience that allows you to evaluate metrics across all of your shoppable videos at the same time.

With a new “Data” tab in navigation, and a multi-select filter, brands can view metrics across one, all or many of their shoppable experiences. This eliminates the manual aggregation, and allows for easy analysis when comparing multiple layouts.

In addition to the new consolidated dashboard, we have added a new Custom Timeframe option, which allows users to view data from custom date ranges instantly, and have localized the data output as to display in the logged-in user’s current time zone.

🧐 Impressions > Views

Prior to this update, we displayed unique page views as a core metric across the data experience. Moving forward, we have replaced this metric with Impressions. What we found is that a brand only gets value when the video embed is displayed to the shopper, making a page view misleading, as many site visitors would bounce from the page and never see the shoppable video.

An impression can be defined as the number of times a user sees a Novel video layout throughout their shopping journey.

Note: An impression is calculated by layout, not by the number of videos within a layout. Therefore, when a shopper sees one video layout with eight videos, it only counts as one impression.

Your real time impression count across all shoppable videos can be viewed within the consolidated data dashboard OR on the billing page:

By popular demand, we have also introduced the ability to add a text headline to the existing Carousel layout:

🎞️ Multi-Image Product Slider

Another hot new feature, aimed at revenue optimization within video, is the product picture slider. We now show shoppers all images associated with a product, allowing the navigation of all variant pictures from Shopify to display. Check it out below:
